VACUUBRAND™ ME 4 NT Diaphragm Vacuum Pumps are intended specifically for non-corrosive, non-evaporative applications. They are excellent for laboratory and process-plant applications including gas transfer, backing turbo pumps, and vacuum filtration. All wetted parts of these pumps are made of aluminum, FKM, and polyethylene. Aluminum-FKM pumps should not be used with organic solvents, corrosives, or other vapors inconsistent with the materials of construction.

Gases can be evacuated and pumped continuously with diaphragm pumps using no oil. Aluminum and selected plastics are used for all parts in contact with pumped media, which allows for a wide range of non-corrosive applications. It combines a high pumping speed with an ultimate vacuum of 70 mbar with a one-stage design. The highly flexible FKM diaphragm, which is made up of fabric-reinforced layers, provides extended operating life. Performance data is further improved in the NT series.
